I was on the phone, when my phone beeped and told me there was another call coming in. I told my friend to hold on. I quickly looked at the caller ID and noticed it said “MD”. I thought it was a doctor calling so I told my friend I would call her right back. I clicked over and it was Gail from the Maryland Lottery. Of course at this point I realized it wasn’t a doctor.

Gail told me who she was and where she was calling from. She told me I had won the Ravens Cash Fantasy prize. I asked her if this was some kind of joke. I truly thought it was and asked her again. She told me that it really wasn’t and proceeded to tell me what I had won two club level seats to see the Ravens play the Indianapolis Colts with pre-game field passes, a free parking pass and $100 Ravens cash.  I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was so excited. I was sooo excited and couldn’t believe my ears! I had never been to a game before and this would be the most awesome way to experience my first game.

I have to say that the day was perfect, even the weather turned out to be really nice. I took pictures of the players while they were on the field, ate yummy crab cakes prior to the game and bought some awesome shirts with the Raven’s cash I had won. This was an experience that I will never forget thanks to the Maryland Lottery. So everyone, keep on playing those scratch off tickets. You too may become one of the lucky winners. I know I certainly never dreamed this would have happened so dreams really do come true!
